The South Island&#8217;s rugged south coastline.  Two miserable days of hail, sleet and wind. Lovely.<\/p>\n<p>Nugget Point lighthouse.  Apparently you can see seals and dolphins from the lookout but they had departed to sunnier climes.  Wish I&#8217;d joined them.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.navroz.com\/nz\/NZ102.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There is a petrified forest somewhere under here.  I didn&#8217;t spend too much time looking &#8211; I was too scared of the advancing tide.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.navroz.com\/nz\/NZ105.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Niagara Falls.  A surveyor with a sense of humour then. Bit wasted on me &#8211; I&#8217;d spent 5 minutes out of the car getting soaked to get to them.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.navroz.com\/nz\/NZ101.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Slope Point, most southerly on the South Island.
