Rob Roy Glacier. A 3 – 4 hr return walk outside Wanaka, which is a great place to chill.

Views from Mount Alfred, a climb upto 1475m , near Glenorchy, Queenstown. About the only hike I’ve done which I don’t recommend doing. Its easy to lose the trail, and there’s no protection from the wind on the ridge at the top.
